Survey report and dashboard

The results of the survey are available in The state of safety reporting culture in Queensland’s mining industry report and an online dashboard.

Due to the potential sensitivity of the data, the report does not contain analysis at a mine-specific level, nor identify any mine by name.

The report is divided into four chapters covering:

• mining industry overall
• coal mining industry
• mineral mining industry
• quarrying industry.

The exploration sector is covered in the coal mining and mineral mining sections of the report.

A discussion of the key findings, including strength and opportunity areas, is included alongside considerations for industry leaders and suggestions for future research.

Dashboard

An online dashboard which allows users to analyse the survey data is now available.

Data can be viewed across each of the five dimensions, as well as overall. Participant suggestions for improvement from the open text question is also available.
